PSA: NNXE update part 2 is live today

E-mail Print PDF

twitterfacebooknovember1

After months of waiting and hearing all the hoopla from the beta testers preview program participants, the final Xbox LIVE system update is available for public consumption today.

Turn on your Xbox 360 and connect to LIVE later this morning, and you'll now find that Twitter, Facebook, Last.fm, the Zune Video Marketplace, dedicated stores for music games and more are all there and accounted for, waiting to be investigated - with no actual "update" required. According to Microsoft, everything should just appear, when they decide to flip the switch, that is. The magic of prior stealth updates. Go forth, and enjoy the fruits of Microsoft's partnership labors... unless you're under 18, in which case you'll need to wait a few weeks for certain things. Commence the celebrations.

Now we wait to see what's coming in 2010.
