As promised, here's another glimpse at the vast Western experience that is Red Dead Redemption. The newest gameplay footage, dubbed "Life in the West," dropped today, and you can check it out below.

"The rich diversity of each area offers several types of challenges and rewards.  Hunting allows reformed outlaw John Marston the opportunity to skin and sell the skin in town, while a bloody battle attracts vultures, who if shot, unlock sharp shooting challenges.  Full of possibility and activity, the world of Red Dead Redemption reflects the immensity  that was the Wild West. BF: BC2's grenade spam PSA hits its mark with precision

FRAGS

Infinity Ward's public service announcement about random grenade spam in Modern Warfare 2 last year, well, you know, it didn't go over so well at the end of the day. Not at all. Kind of like Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer itself. But luckily for us, EA and DICE stepped up to the plate with Battlefield: Bad Company 2, took position, and have had MW2 in their sights from the get go. And they succeeded so far in just about every area. And that now includes a friendly little PSA of their own.

DICE teamed up with New York Yankees' pitcher CC Sabathia to bring the familiar, and important, issue to the forefront. Mission accomplished. Critical strike. Whatever else fits in this instance. We'll just let it play out as it should. Enjoy.

Sweetwater is the man. Well played, EA. Well played.

No solid gameplay footage of Crytek's astounding looking Crysis sequel has hit public eyes yet (plenty of screens have), but that ended, in a way, at GDC this week.

The developer was on hand to show off their multiplatform CryENGINE 3 tech, and to do so they showcased snippets of Crysis 2 on consoles, giving us glimpses at firefights, destructible environments, enemy AI and more. Looks really good so far. Keep in mind that what you're seeing in off-screen, so the actual game won't be as blurry. Hopefully we get some hands-on time at E3.

Crysis 2 is due out later this year.

ME2's Hammerhead DLC gets teased in new clip

Here is two-minutes of glorious, action-packed gameplay footage of Mass Effect 2's Hammerhead hover tank, hitting the Cerberus Network free of charge at the end of March in the "Firewalker" add-on.

The DLC will add five brand new missions, specific to the vehicle, and as we can see, blowing up Geth and traversing otherwise dangerous terrain will play a large part. Need it. Right now.

Looks great, BioWare.
