Xbox LIVE Rewards Pilot Program? We were the first site to break the news of this questionable item, and regardless of the fact that this new service's details continue to elude us, it is a legit operation. Being outed through a series of randomly sent e-mails yesterday, Microsoft confirmed today that the new Rewards program is authentic, but they aren't talking about it at this time. As usual.
"We are always exploring ways to provide the most value for our members and are currently testing a pilot rewards program with a select base of our Xbox LIVE community in the US. We have no further details to share at this time."
Ah, bummer. Feel free to continue to speculate. And if you received an e-mail about it, be sure to get your name in the hat by tomorrow, since that's the cut off date for recruitment. Accepted participants will be notifed around November 6th. Our take? Simply going by the description in the survey, it's almost a safe bet to assume this a reboot of the 2007 Xbox Rewards program. We'll see, though.
