In their fiscal year financial results, Ubisoft have confirmed - or rather, pointed in a more precise direction - the dates which their heavy-hitting titles will land on shelves. Something they already did last month.
Splinter Cell: ConViction (who just crept back out of the shadows, and willl re-emerge fully at E3), Assassin's Creed 2 and James Cameron's 3D Avatar are all slated for Q3 2009, which is between November and December. In that short window, too, are the Wii-only Red Steel and Rayman sequels as well as new snowbaording spin-off of Shaun White. Notice a game missing? Beyond Good & Evil 2.
The publisher's Q4 (January through March 2010) brings us the new Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, as well as RTS R.U.S.E. and the delayed I Am Alive survival action title. Notice a game missing? Beyond Good & Evil 2. Again.
What did we learn from this? Most of the Ubisoft titles we've been waiting for will be with us, adding to our hard-earned Gamerscore by the end of this year - except for BG&E2, which as of March of next year is still a long ways off. Oh, and most of the aforementioned products will be receiving post-release DLC - Splinter Cell, Assassin's and Avatar, to be exact. Just a heads up.
