Had the Gods been on our side, which they are obviously not, Xbox 360 owners would be enjoying the high-def remake of the original Serious Sam this month. Released to PC users already, Devolver Digital and Croteam's Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter has been delayed on XBLA until January of next year. Not that far of a push, but still... it's a push. No concrete date just yet for the 4-player co-op title. Expect to shell out 1,200 Microsoft Banana Dollars, or Moon Dollars, as the developers call them.
On the upside, the second installment of the series has gotten re-remake confirmation, now dubbed Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter, and will be out in "in early 2010."
