Next week when Microsoft begins rolling out the NNXE part 2 fall update, accepted Xbox LIVE participants not Twittering their day away will find a small handful of new features that weren't there before. Features that Microsoft haven't talked about yet.
Into your music titles? Are the guy on your block that hold regular Rock Band parties? You'll be glad to know that this update sneaks in separate, dedicated Marketplace stores for Rock Band, Guitar Hero and even Lips. Convenient! Additionally, Xbox LIVE will get its own news section with the "News and More" channel under Inside Xbox, which streams content from MSNBC, MSN Autos, The New Yorker and Dilbert. Cool? If you're residing in the United States, I guess so. Hopefully that is able to be toggled on and off, like the Welcome channel was.
Microsoft even said to "keep an eye out in the weeks after the preview launches" for more mysterious items. What sort of secrets await us?
