Where is Deus Ex 3? It seems like it's been a lifetime since we've seen anything new on the prequel. All we know is the game is still being worked on tirelessly by Eidos Montreal, in association with Square-Enix Japan. But, maybe we won't actually be getting anything called "Deus Ex 3" when all is said and done.

Square-Enix, owners of Eidos, have filed for the trademark of Deus Ex: Human Revolution this week in both Europe and North America. And that's it. The trademark applies to computer game software, as is customary. Were I a betting man, I'd wager a small amount that we're looking at the official name for Deus Ex 3 here. After all, all good prequels have a subtitle.

E3 shall be interesting.
