Mirror's Edge 2 happening. At least, the general assumption is that's happening, what with EA confirming a sequel was in the works. But, that was prior to the great lay-off and game cancelation maneuver last month which swept the publisher. As an original IP, Mirror's Edge performed fairly well; provided the sequel was spared, it seems it's coming along nicely. The resume and portfolio of Oscar Carlén, lighting artist at developer DICE, recently said that he was currently working on both Mirror's Edge 2, as well as Battlefield 3. The latter game was also made official by EA this past summer.

Well hello there, bullet point that shouldn't have been posted. As of this writing, Carlén has removed the mention of the titles from his profiles, but the internet sees all. Oops? So, when will Mirror's Edge 2 be announced? Early 2010, you say? I concur.
